Pensacola Mardi Gras Pensacola

Our very own Commercial Team Owner Danny Zimmern became involved in the Pensacola Mardi Gras over 20 years ago by volunteering to help line up floats on parade day. He quickly developed a love and passion for expanding the event season.

Under Danny’s leadership, Pensacola Mardi Gras has grown from a one weekend event with a handful of volunteers and 15 participating krewes, to a 6-10 week season, an organized nonprofit board, and over 90 participating krewes! The parades, galas and celebrations that take place during Pensacola’s Mardi Gras events and related activities generate tens of millions of dollars in revenue for the City of Pensacola, and the surrounding communities.

Through the Mardi Gras celebration, we’ve been able to support many aspects of the community along the Florida Gulf Coast to include tourism and development, and support for nonprofits. It’s also evident the transformation downtown Pensacola has experienced thanks to the evolution of the city’s Mardi Gras with Danny’s direction.

Not only that, but we’ve built a strong community of passionate people.

Building Community

At The Zimmern Team we are committed to using our resources and influence to inspire and empower the people around us—our coworkers, colleagues, peers, clients, and local residents.

As a group of natives, locals, and longtime local professionals, our agents and staff consistently volunteer with grassroots and engage in sponsorships with non-profits. Every year attendance grows as we’re able to connect with more people through community outreach.
